![]() Following the many passing remarks made by these authors in respect to the use of writing within the Aladura churches, I will read their accounts in terms of how people perceived and experienced the written word in the specific context of the Christian–colonial order and consider whether and how this experience has influenced people's actions and religious behaviour. In this article I propose to introduce another aspect of interpretation. To date, there have been three main lines of interpretation which received general recognition: first, in form of a theological analysis (Turner, 1967) second, in a discussion of social protest (Mitchell, 1970) and finally, through the sociology of religion (Peel, 1968). Most angelic names I find difficult to pronounce - if at all. ![]() It would help to have a background in the Hebrew language. The Church just does not see it, recognize it, or want its congregation to do so and that goes into politics and control - not getting into that! However, the more I read and cross reference with the Bible, the better understanding I have of Biblical references. If I waste their time I'm terrified I may end up a pile of ash. ![]() I don't consider my self adept enough to even consider conjuring the angelic beings. It is probably the first book of this genre I consider real and not to be played around with. ![]() Not a book for any beginner in any aspect or concept of Kabbalah knowledge or any other field of magical undertaking. ![]() Once past the 6th and 7th book and into Part 1 The Magic of the Israelites, comes understanding and wisdom.Įxtremely in depth knowledge. ![]()
